IN OPENED TERRARIUM

（1）Care for Succulent/ Cactus Terrarium

Grow the plant in a bright place but away from direct sunlight. For watering, start with 5ml of water per plant at 1 spot into the soil near the stem, once a week. Subsequently, observe the plant and if required, adjust the amount between 5-10ml per plant per week

（1b) Care for Succulent/ Cactus (In Ceramic Pots)

Grow the plant in a bright place but away from direct sunlight. For watering, start with 10ml of water per plant at 1 spot into the soil near the stem, once  a week. Subsequently, observe the plant and if required, adjust the amount between 10-30ml per plant per week

（1c) Care for Tropical Plants (In Ceramic Pots)

Grow the plant in a bright place but away from direct sunlight. For watering, start with 20ml of water per pot at 1 spot into the soil near the stem, 2-3 times a week. Subsequently, observe the plant and if required, adjust the amount between 20-50ml per plant per week

 （2） Care for Airplant Terrarium

Grow the plant in a bright place but away from direct sunlight. Mist the plant everyday or alternate days when the leaves look dry.

（3）Care for Fittonia/ Pilea Terrarium

Grow the plant in a bright place but away from direct sunlight. Add 5-20ml of water at 1 spot into the soil near the stem, when the leaves look dry or droopy. Adjust the water amount accordingly for bigger terrariums

（4）Care for Moss Terrarium

Grow the plant in a bright place but away from direct sunlight. Mist the plant everyday or alternate days when the leaves look dry.

（5)  Care for Pachira

Grow the plant in a bright place but away from direct sunlight. Add 20-50ml of water per plant at 1 spot into the soil near the stem, once a week or when the leaves look dry.

 

IN CLOSED TERRARIUM

（6）Care for Fittonia/ Pilea

Grow the plant in a bright place but away from direct sunlight. Add 5ml-15ml of water at 1 spot into the soil near the stem, when there is no water condensation on the inner glass or when the leaves look dry or droopy. Adjust the water amount accordingly for bigger terrariums

（7）Care for Moss

Grow the plant in a bright place but away from direct sunlight. Mist evenly onto the surface when the plant look dry or if there’s no more condensation on the inner side of the glass.

 

 (8) Care for Light Terrarium

A gentle reminder: kindly remove the cork lid before turning the knob of the light, this is to prevent pressing onto the glass while turn on/off the knob so as to avoid breaking the glass 

 

 

PRESERVED FLOWERS

（9）Care for Preserved Flowers

Avoid placing them under direct sunlight or at locations with high humidity and ensure the preserved flowers do not come into contact with water 

 

FRESH FLOWERS

(10) Care for Fresh Flowers

Add warm water to a clean vase with some sugar and vinegar into the water. The sugar will help nourish the flowers and promote opening of the blooms & the vinegar helps inhibit the growth of bacteria and keeps your flowers fresher longer. 

Remove all lower leaves from flowers so there won't be any in the water. Cut 1 to 2 inches off the stems at an angle while they are under water. Arrange your flowers in the vase.

Avoid placing them under direct sunlight. Flowers will last longer in a cooler room. 

 

(11) Care Instruction Policy

We will provide the best general advice for taking care of the different types of plants. However as plants are living stocks, the survival of each individual plant greatly depends on the environment it will be kept in, which is totally out of our control, hence Lush Glass Door will not be responsible should the plant/s withered and died. Customers are required to observe their plants and adjust the amount of water and sunlight given to them accordingly based on their environment.

*** Since terrariums do not have drainage holes, kindly avoid flooding the terrarium during the watering routine (Applies to all kinds of terrariums mentioned above)
